How to Keep a Baby from Getting Sick?

No parents want to see their sick. Although parents cannot totally avoid their babies from ever getting sick, there are steps that parents can follow to control their infant’s danger of getting afflicted. Have you baby vaccinate. Vaccinations can protect infant from a wide range of infections which include diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough (pertusis). When you hold or feed your baby make sure to wash your hands with warm water and soap. This step will aid in preventing the spread of bacteria from your baby and to you that will protect your baby from being sick. Another, remind others to wash their hands also before holding your baby. Keep in mind to wash the baby’s hands if it touches any dirt or foreign object too.

Always keep your baby away from a sick person, if you know that a family member or a friend is sick, try to prevent bringing your baby around that individual. This will reduce the baby’s danger of catching the infection from the ill person. In case you will bring your baby around a person who is sick, make sure to control the exposure of your baby to the ill person and to practice washing hands always. Always disinfect the baby’s place if necessary. For instance, if you are dining out with your baby in a restaurant; make sure to wipe off the highchair using an antibacterial wipe to avoid the spread of bacteria and infection.
